Paperyx for Kindle

Give your Kindle a real job

Your Kindle is already the best screen you own for focused reading. Paperyx makes it useful for the quiet parts of daily work too, without turning it into another noisy tablet.

Why Paperyx

Some work does not need a laptop.

You do not need a glowing screen, twenty tabs, notifications, sidebars, or another app trying to pull you in. Sometimes you just need to read the message, check the calendar, open the file, write down the task, and move on.

Paperyx gives your Kindle a simple workspace for that kind of work.

What you get

Mail. Calendar. Files. Contacts. Tasks. Weather. Calculator. Support tools.

Keep tasks visible without another notification app

Open useful files on an e-ink screen

Check weather before leaving the house

Use simple tools without switching devices

All in readable Kindle pages.

Built for the way Kindle feels

Paperyx is not a phone app squeezed into the Kindle browser. Pages are large, plain, readable, and slow-refresh friendly. Actions use normal links and forms. Text comes first. Controls are big enough to tap. The whole experience is designed to feel closer to a paper planner than a dashboard.

How it works

Open kindle.paperyx.ink in the Kindle Web Browser, sign in, and start from a simple home page built for Kindle Scribe, Kindle Paperwhite, and Kindle Colorsoft.

Paperyx for Kobo

Current Kobo Clara, Libra, Sage, and Elipsa eReaders include a beta web browser that can open Paperyx. Because Kobo labels the browser beta, test the workflows you need on your device.

Supported connected accounts

Paperyx supports Microsoft accounts, Apple iCloud, and compatible IMAP/SMTP and CalDAV accounts today. Google account support is in progress and limited to approved pilot users.

Paperyx uses connected-account access only to provide the cloud features you choose. It does not sell connected-account data or use it for advertising.

Read the Privacy Policy.

Who it is for

Paperyx is for people who like the Kindle because it is quiet.

If you use your Kindle to read, think, plan, study, travel, or step away from your phone, Paperyx gives that same device a practical daily role.

It will not replace your laptop. That is the point.
